All right fellas. Most of you from the south have done this already but I'm going to give you the rest of you backyard grillers the only way to ever make chicken period.Its called beer can chicken.
Go to the store and buy a mediun sized bird bring it home and rise it out and let it dry. Then fire up the grill (Hasty Bake preffered) to 225-250 degrees. Next come in and rub the bird down with head country championship seasoning and sprinkle a little garlic salt on top. Take out a cold beer from the fridge and drink 1/3 of it. Place it in a beer can holder (can be purchased at cabelas bass pro etc..) then place the chicken over the top of the can so its sitting upright and put on the grill and walk away for 1 hr and 30 min.When the time is up bring it in and let it sit for 15 minutes and then dig in. Let me know how it goes.....it is absolutely delicious.
