Let's assume you run up hill incline on the treadmill or starmaster for 20 minutes. HR will be around (175 -179 or so for me at least). That will peak at about 7 minutes into the CV workout.
Now, lets say you take a a baseball bat and smash pumpkins for one minute straight without resting for one minute. You rest for One minute, and then continue this for another 1 minute. This is repeated 4 times. (you're heart will pound like a mother at about 170+ we know that for sure).
Now, the pumkin smashing duration is only 8 minutes excluding warmup. The starclimber is 20 minutes.
What's the difference?
A. Duration of heart rate = fat burning and increasing endurance?
B. Same thing, you're reaching a peak heart rate (smashing pumkins) in a shorter amount of time ?
C. I don't know and I don't give a shit............
