I like making this at home. It's easy, delicious and pretty healthy too. Best way to eat a lot of veggies.
Love stir fry. I'm thinking of buying a Wok bowl. an going pro Vegetables, chicken or beef, noodles. I just don't know the sauces very well.
Monday I'm going to eat at Mongolian bbq with a pencil , paper and questions. I'll report back.

Not a huge teriyaki fan but stir frys rock......... Good way to also wipe out the fridge.
For sauce, some simple chicken stock, garlic, peppers, maybe some red curry is easy. Can always use Sriachi as a shortcut.

Best sauce recipe for a stir fry:
5 tablespoons of a good soy sauce
1 tablespoon hot chili sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1/2 cup of good chicken broth (homemade if you have it)
Fill measuring cup with water so that you have 2 cups of liquid
2 heaping tablespoons of corn starch
Start by stir frying whatever meat you like with lots of garlic and chopped ginger. Set aside. Then stir fry whatever veggies you like in garlic and ginger. Add meat back into wok and pour in sauce mixture (as much of it as you need for the amount of food you have). Let the sauce come to a boil and thicken. Mix up and serve over favourite noodles or rice!
If stir frying pork or beef sometimes I will set it in ice water for about 10 minutes after cutting the meat into strips. Take it out then lightly toss it in corn startch. Then stir fry. Not sure why but the meat comes out incredibly tender....melt in your mouth. Doesn't work as well if not soaked in the ice water first and doesn't work that well with chicken.....again, not sure why.

This is my favorite stiry fry recipe. I make it with carrot, mushrooms, onion, and brocolli. Add all the veggies you want.
I also keep some szechaun stir fry and hoisin sauce on hand just in case you need a little more liquid to coat the veggies.
You could do this with shrimp as well. Takes a while to cut all the veggies, but it makes a lot.
Also, read the reviews for other tips to make it even better.

This is a great idea. Just leave it in a shaker container and add corn starch as you use it. I am making this tonight. I think I'll go with shrimp.

I actually used all chicken stock instead of water. I also doubled the hot chili garlic sauce....it had a little kick, but it wasn't too bad. You can pretty much mess with the level of all the ingredients to your taste.
I did add about a Tablespoon of hoisin sauce as well.
