Its almost getting to that time of the year where the season ends and its time to start dieting and training for next season. I cut out all bad carbs and replace them with good ones, like sweet potato instead of reg. potato, corn, brown rice instead of white rice. There is no way I would ever cut all carbs like Atkins, but I like to make sure I'm eating the healthy ones.
My question: Do you guys no any other good sides, entrees, etc. that are low in carbs and healthy. It gets old shoveling brown rice and corn in your mouth week in and week out.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I colored the question part.
Thanks

I tried Shirataki Noodles (read about them in Men's Health). An entire bag of them contains 20 calories with 3 grams of carbs (2 of those are fiber). They have no taste, but take on sauce you cook them with (I used mine to make pork lo mein).

Grilled vegetables are fantastic. I do zuchini, yellow squash, red pepper, potatoes, asparagus, etc. Just toss with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper and cook for a couple minutes on a scorching hot grill.
BTW, corn isn't exactly low in carbs. Does have fiber, though.

Mikael99 - Thanks for the link bud. Also your idea for curry sauce made me recall hot sauces speed up the metabolism.
Longshot - Thanks for the tip, I will give shirataki noodles a go.
Rick - Thanks for the sandwich suggestion, it seems like its missing two all beef patties in the middle, lol. I hate getting back to the routine, so difficult the first 2 weeks.
Umgmu - Thanks, but not trying to become a vegetarian.
Armed - I totally forgot about spam and rice, thanks bud.
