Does anyone take 5 hour energy before a workout? Or, does anyone take it the night before so you can wake up and be ready to work out in the morning after a night of drinking?

i take my regular protein shakes in the morning. 20 minutes b4 my workout ill drink "musclepharm assult" and that gets me jacked up. has a bit of creatine in it which is all i need as i'm 5'6 145lbs. protein of some sort after my workouts.

Don't waste your money on that trash. Eat right maybe take a good general vitamin....and that's all you need.

I go to a massage therapist who is also a certified nutritionist. She asked me, "why would you want to artificially prop up your body for a workout? It's obviously trying to tell you something. If you can't do it naturally, it's not worth doing IMO."
Now protein powders and all that jazz...for people who want to bulk up. I don't know dick about that. But I've woke up at 4:30 to go running (way back before my knee was trash) and yawned all the way out the door. Once I was about 10 minutes in, the adrenaline kicks in and you're fine.
I just don't see the advantages of spending $4 or $5 before each work out on crap like that.
I was at the store the other day and now they have these little "chill" bottles of crap. Now you can jack yourself up and bring yourself down....all for about $8 - $10 a crack.
