Yes....Ibuprofen, advil, tylenol wreaks havoc on your liver, especially when mixed with alcohol.....

That, and not drinking stupid things. No offense, but I can drink a fifth of Stoli straight on the rocks and never get a hangover.I think drinks with a lot of alcohol and a lot of sugar can get you as well. Jeff is spot on about the water and I&#x27;d add perhaps about 4 aspirin.Curious, what are you drinking when you get a hangover?I used to get wicked hangovers back in the day when I would drink a shitload of vodka and cranberrys. I wouldn&#x27;t specify the vodka (big mistake) and believe it or not, and cranberry juice other than Ocean Spray has resulted in a hangover regardless of type of vodka.Seriously though, what are ya drinking when you get your worst  hangovers?

Just don&#x27;t mix up the drinks. If you start with beer, stick with beer. For me natural juice works best before going to sleep.. Oh, and try not to smoke too much (if you&#x27;re a smoker) when drunk. You&#x27;ll be grateful in the morning.

water water &amp; more water .. &#xD;&#xA;still drinking water from what i did saturday.  went to friend&#x27;s bday party.  only planned on drinking beer from keg.  but one friend bought jack, another friend bought everclear - no clue why - and i bought bday girl vodka.  after getting buzzed on beer, started drinking the mix of gatorade and everclear and doing shots of vodka.  then i started drinking a little of the jack towards the end of the night.  i&#x27;ve quit smoking when i&#x27;m sober, but again, after a few beers, the cigs started to appear.  ha, it was a rough sunday. i was sleeping all day yesterday and like a zombie now.  i really need to quit drinking.

From my past experience back when I was in college, I would say smoking weed actually helps. It takes away the nausea and you can go get some greasy fast food and that seems to help settle the stomach during a hangover.

I&#x27;m mostly a beer guy, so I&#x27;ll add my two cents.  If I drink a lager (say Yuengling, Molson, etc) I usually end up drinking more.  Whatever sugars or carbs that are naturally in beer really gets your blood sugar out of whack and adds to the hangover.  I&#x27;ve noticed that when I drink a beer with a higher ABV, like an IPA, I&#x27;ll drink less and feel not as bad the next day.  That said, if you are still feeling like crap, squeeze three lemons into a glass, fill remaining with water if necessary and keep downing waters throughout the day.  Lemons work like a charm.
