nothing wrong with little indulgences, but anything in excess can be bad

especially caffeine

I use to drink red bulls, and at times would feel like my heart was pounding out of my chest

I dont have the side effects that some do to energy drinks, I love em..

But there is a good point being made in that article about the effects of combining different things into the body and how we are clueless as a public to the effects these things have on us.

I drink a ton of diet coke too and I do think that artificial sweeteners are terrible for you, including sucrose and glucose.

If there were an alternative out there, a natural sweetener then I would consider it.

The reality is that the capitalistic nature of our economy does little to protect the health, safety and interests of the consumer.

If "truth" came out, Monsanto would be BK in 30 seconds..they create some toxic but profitable products..in fact they are probably the most evil corporation out there if you look at the products they either developed or are producing.
