List the best values of booze

I used to be a bartender, but now I just like to drink :)

I will start with bourbon. I have two values for you all... the Jim Beam 7 year bourbon is very nice, smooth, and would compare with many bourbons much more expensive. Personally I think the 4-year bourbon is trash.

I have another bourbon for you... Ancient Age (90 proof) is really good! It's dirt cheap too, but you would not know if if you didn't look at the label. I drink Ancient Age all the time, and it's really good for the price.

I'm not much of a vodka guy, but I do know that Smirnoffs is basically the best value in vodka. Great bottle, smooth goes down great and modest price. Douchbags that think the absolute or skull is worth the price are stupid. Nothing but image there. It has been proven over and over.

Somebody give me the best value on tequila.

If you just want to get drunk for a small price drink Taaka Vodka. But if you are going to try to convince me there is no difference between Smirnoff and Russian Standard Platinum, Ciroc, or Belvedere, you have no clue and no taste.

You did say you were not much of a vodka guy, so I'll cut you some slack. But to say Smirnoff is the best value in vodka is just another way of saying you can't afford the good stuff.

If you game me $20 to get drunk on -----one 750 travel bottle of beam ($10.99)food lion mix and match 6 pack ($8.99) = PUT IN ONLY DOGFISH HEAD 90 MIN PALE ALE @ 9% ALCOHOL.I don&#x27;t drink anymore but I am good at this drill

henry lily, smirnoff vodka really is a good value. it has done well in taste tests along side goose and kettle. Svedka is also good for the price

best bourbonn/whiskey for less money is beam imo. evan williams mixes well but a little harsh straight.

Patron might be the worst value in tequila. Next time you reach for Patron grab Don Julio instead................1800 is ok....................for an anejo, Don Eduardo is pretty good ($35).............Cabo Wabo makes a good repo ($32)............I don&#x27;t drink any whites (or silvers as they like to call them). There are lots of inexpensive tequilas that work for a margarita...........tougher to find a good sipping one.

Good values for tequila...............Jose Cuervo "Tradicional" (repo)...around $23 &amp; works for sipping as well as drinks..........................El Jimador (repo).....around $20, same thing.

Obviously Ciroc, Belvedere, and Goose are all going to be better quality vodka. But they are also three times the price(give or take) of a bottle of Smirnoff.For the money, I agree that Smirnoff is a better value since, imo, the others listed above aren&#x27;t three times better than Smirnoff. But it&#x27;s clearly not a better quality vodka than the premiums. As for tequila, I like Sauza hornitos for value. Patron is garbage for value. No that shit should be $40 for a fifth. I&#x27;m not saying it&#x27;s bad, I&#x27;m just saying it&#x27;s not worth that much. There are much better values for tequila.

Sky vodka is pretty good too, for the price. I can&#x27;t tell much of a difference between it and gray goose.
