This is an open discussion regarding wether meds are good or bad, in which I'll speak about my private and unique problem:
So I'm only 30 years old, but already taking some meds for my heart because of heart incident, similar to heart attack (had a catheterization).
As time goes by, I thought that I'll cut the meds off by doctors' advice, but those are not coming, instead they want to add another type.
Yeah I know that I should consult with a doctor, but already did, and when you read between the lines you realise one thing - this is not life or death, this is to keep you healthy, but there are nice probabilities that it is not necessarily helpful. And of course, those meds are serious.
So serious that I ask myself - maybe I'm "saving" my heart from another heart incident, but killing my liver, kidneys and who knows what else.
The more I read and as time goes by and us simple citizens getting more suspicious, I don't even know that I'm doing the right thing here. Yeah, that is the western way and the "sure" way.
But I have many (hopefully) years of taking those meds, as I was told it's for life in order to prevent another heart incident (though I didn't have a typical heart attack, something unusual which should not come back, but because it already happened, I should be cautious and take the F meds). I take 4 different meds - blood thinners, beta blockers, and statins.

Forgot to say the bottom line - maybe all doctors really not saying the truth? Maybe I don't really need those meds? Maybe I need only 1 type? My situation has not gone worse, and it won't unless I get another heart incident.
I really don't know wether I'm being fooled by the system (and don't say they don't care about 1 case, every case matters because when you sum all cases - you get a lot of money).
Maybe they are such good robots that say what they are told to say?
I really don't know, but with this new era of information, I'm wondering. Worrying and wondering.

I take a bunch of pills now the worse for me is Plavix I get cut and bleed as if my carta artery was severed and any little thing I scrape against I bruise as if rocked by Tyson, but I was told it was needed for my body trying to clot the stints in my heart.
I was given a two year window till a new vessel wall built over the exposed metal stint. I take them for I see the benefits and the short term risks minimal vs not taking them and ending up with bypass or worse invasive procedure....

Vast majority of doctors are competent. A bad minority tarnished the rest. But hard to find out which doctors are incompetent. Americans tend to distrust doctors but are mostly satisfied with quality of healthcare provided.

If like to hear some feedback from anybody that is using or has used the supplement superbeets. It seems like an alternative to the blood thinners beta blockers and statins.
