currently have the flu so i can't go to the gym, but starting Friday it's everyday lifting and cardio 2-3x per week
okey dokey.....
here's a GREAT way to lose a quick 10-15 lbs.....
Do a 21 day (extreme) exercise / nutrition + whatever else plan
note: many that do this...emphasize CLEANSING / DETOX.....trying to eliminate ANYTHING that MIGHT be bad for you...
eg. ALCOHOL.....SUGAR.....PROCESSED foods.....flours...caffeine ....MASSIVE quantities of red meat...etc....
IDEA?....is to
* jump start a diet
* DISCIPLINE yourself a bit.....if you (like me) need it that is......as we all pick up a few bad habits
* hopefully a few of these ideas carry over to your everyday life
KEY: write everything down....don't give yourself CHOICES.....then stick to THE PLAN
***** I like to try and get away from USING food to kill time or something to really enjoy...but rather to what it's SUPPOSED to do.....FUEL OUR BODIES holy crap *****..........FOOD as some erotic / social experience?......is what is getting us in trouble......combined with sitting on our azz of course
( at 1st you might not feel better / probably worse...but after 3-4 days maybe a week you'll begin to notice positive changes).....and when you're done you'll no doubt feel MUCH better.....and will have accomplished something most all your buddies don't have the guts to do

Mine?.....doing it currently day 2
* prep: bought a total body cleanse / extra liver detox ha......and 7 gallons of distilled water (labeled by day > can't cheat that way) ....FRESH fruits / vegetables only....buncha lemmons / garlic / olive oil to spice things up a bit.....it's probably best to eliminate MEAT entirely if you can (processed meats have WAY too much crap in it)....I add a bit of fish like salmon a few days a week.....grilled chicken occasionally....I like to workout hard and I'm not creative enough to get enough calories from fruits /veg only...........I stay away from nuts when trying to lose weight
Everyday : protein shakes with fruit in the morning .....for lunch vegetables / fruit with either grilled chicken or fish (small portions)/ maybe brown rice or quinoa.... salad or soup or smoothie (meal replacement type) for an early dinner......one gallon or more of distilled water
* caffeine free teas usually....snack on fruits or vegetables only (apples...celery ....pears....carrots etc) .......THAT'S IT
Also.....exercise EVERY day.....21 days = 21 workouts....miss one do 2 the next.......don't be a pusssy > push yourself
* if you actually are active physically on your job of course you don't have to work out each day....if you sit on your fat azz like me.....then do it
Watching guys at the gym.....I'm beyond amazed at how they workout....unless you're lifting HEAVY / FREE weights (few guys do) .....why TF are you resting (so much) between sets ?
Here's what I do when on this plan....basically....I mix in heavy lifting once / twice a week....I'm an old man in crappy shape ...you young guys can do more sure
* get in and out in 45 min.....no more than an hour
Mon- 20-30 min on treadmill > 2 trips upper body circuit on machines (abs everyday)
Tues- 20-30 on elliptical > lower body circuit
Wed- 20-30 + on bike > upper body.........etc.........

Also......all the stuff you've been putting off?....now's the time to do them
* for me.....cutting back on TV time....READING instead...especially at bedtime......I watch NO TV for the 1st week to get me started off right.....try to read one book / week.....all educational non-fiction type
*getting (enough) sleep is huge......it's kinda chick-like.....but really helps.....you gotta set your room up to MAXIMIZE your ability to SLEEP thru the night.......>> use black-out curtains.....maybe an air purifier ....not only to clean the air but the white noise (crucial for me).....greatest thing for me?.....got one of those portable AC units...place it anywhere in your room > gottta vent thru a window (very small tho).....crank that sucker down as low as you want it....65 or so for me
Not comprehensive at all......just a few ideas.....it's best (really) to never go on a diet that you don't stick with FOREVER....but if you can't seem to discipline yourself...something like this might be a great thing to do at least once / year........

At the moment I'm also have some problems with my weight and I've started to go to the GYM. At the same time, to get more positive effect, I'm thinking about the vegetable juice cleanse weight loss diet. So if you want, we can make it together.

Get a push mower, not self propelled.
Find some seniors, 10 or so, living on fixed income.
Mow their yards for the summer free of charge.
You will drop weight quickly.
I have a large yard, takes about six hours to mow with push mower so no shartage of grass for me. Have ride on too but used it only once this year. I try to mow at least 1hr a day in the summer. I'm late fifties weigh the same as when i was in my early 20's.
