Anyone ever tried it? I'm thinking about giving it a try but was wondering how many days a week you do it....I already know it's hard, but are the dvd's cheesy? I've done some work out dvd's before and wanted to punch the trainer in the nuts!!!
Any feedback would be appreciated...

never tried it, someone at work did it, they seemed to like the results but found it hard to stick to the program exactly. i remember seeing several other threads in this forum about p90x maybe you could search for those for more info

Yeah im doing p90x, just started it 10 days ago. My brother got all the files on his computer from a coworker, and bought the elastic bands and door wedge thing, we already have a set of free weights and a mat to use. thats all you need. Ps. the Head guy is pretty corny but has a lot of character and keeps you entertained a bit if you can laugh about it.
Its not as hard as everyone thinks, it is a pretty intense workouts but only some of them are tough, some come easy to me i guess it depends on your experiance. The pylometrics workout is probably one of the toughest because its a cardio workout and by the end of it every part of your core is sore so much that it fuckin hurts to sit down!! (theighs, butt, lower back, etc.)
Also the yoga workout is tough too for me, but i guess thats because i am a big guy and have had terrible flexibility since i can remember. Other than that most of the other workouts are easier, I skip the cardio workout because i run 3-4 days a week now, and on that day i just run even more.
They do give you a 6 day routine and on the 7th day you can either just do a dumb Stretch X workout where you stretch or take the day off, i choose to take the day off and stretch a little myself
Its been 10 days and i am seeing some results, I am able to run faster, my abs are getting stronger and tighter, but nothing major.
P90x is legit, but its like anything else, it takes dedication. If you hit the gym hard for 6 days a week you are going to get Jacked, its just a fact. Just like doing this you are going to get strong if you go hard for 6 days. If you play basketball for 6 days a week you will be great at that. etc etc.
Anyway good luck, if you have any more questions feel free to let me know and ill do my best to answer. BRING IT!
