It has definitely lost its luster. I can still get in there 4 days a week when my schedule allows, which it usually does and get a pretty solid muscle workout, but honestly the last thing I want to do after that hour is to hop on some bike/elliptical and bust ass for 30-45 mins. Here and there, yea I can, but overall...just dont have it in me.
Dont have my old workout partner anymore...which was always great, and my schedule doesnt help finding a partner who truly wants to get to the gym and take it seriously.
Anyone find any other forms of cardio that they like that might be of a nice change? I can play hoops once in a while, but thats about it. I hate to run more than anyone, so screw that. Ive tried to alternate machines like the stair raiser, elliptical, bike, but I just have trouble sticking with it.

I agree with you!!!!But dont quit!!!take break. It was easier for me when I was doing bodybuilding shows....now its way more hard...Its fulltime job to stay in shape as well as what to eat when to eat.......Also going to gym is becoming coffee hour with people talking to me which can ruin workout......Dosnt help when family told me I dont need to be lean and cut they eat whatever they want at anyhour they want....thats not good....they have no clue nor will they ever...for then its all work and no play plus they all are married with kids....Im not. Also people at gym arnt into lifting all they want to do is talk...I had guy yap my ear off for about 30 minutes about gas prices going up 10 dollars in 10 years...I was ready tobeat his head in for ruining my work out this past saturday. I have to start getting up between2-3 am for 90 minutes cardio/abs then gym..then I can get 3 small meals before work at noon. HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE TALKERS AT GYM THEY DONT BELONG THERE IM FED UP . For me and everyone else its get in get done get out Gym IS NOT social club or happy hour. Im just going to do it for myself and get lean and stay lean....F--k everyone else......

I'm sick of it as well...I was thinking about trying p90x but haven't made up my mind....It's cheaper over time than a gym membership. Has anyone tried that program?

Well pending where you live you could try to incorporate some excersise in your daily like to and fro.. different places you need to go.
Bicycle to work if possible.. or when you need to pick up something in the neighborhood or groceries.
You could also park your car 10 minutes walk away from where you work...
A lot of small things that will get you 30 minutes a day. Then you can do the cardio when you feel like it.

Keep with the gym and add something for your cardio...
Someone said mountain biking, but even just getting a bike or going for a run... You might find going for a run in an area where others do the same as motivating because you are not alone, but no responsibility for socialization at all.
another way to do it is to start you day with some cardio to gt your metabolism up and its could be a part of your wake up routine and you will have more energy to do it...
