FYI.. season just started on Bravo last night.  This time, instead of young, up and coming chefs they are using world-renowned chefs that will winning money for charities.

Havn't seen episode one yet.  Saving it on Tivo.
 
That is my favorite show on the air right now
 
I think they have a few decent Chefs in there though.  Should be very good to watch.

Mattbrot -- Tim Love's style was more to my liking - Are you from that area?

FS - Wylie Dufresne will be on future episodes, will be interesting to see what he can create if he doesn't have his usual cooking/molecular gastronomy tools.

Scanned the board, saw a couple Europeans in there.  They are fun to watch.

Don't know jack squat about Wylie but you don't get to that level by molecular gastronomy alone.  Was TOTALLY impressed by his pastry? chef on Iron Chef couple weeks ago.

Actually, that guy is a freak in the kitchen.  He should have won a couple years ago.  Lost to Sam with his roasted chicken or something

Fried - Love beat Morimoto in the chili pepper contest in Iron Chef.  His team did numerous tequilla shots thorughout the episode.

I lived in Ft. Worth for quite a while and have been to all of his places there and have always enjoyed the food. I think that he is not as "clasically trained" as the others (but I really do not know that for sure).

Of course I have no doubt that the others are awesome as well.

Now I remember that episode.... Morimoto was tasting the peppers because he was not familiar with them and spitting them out because they were hot.  Classic
 
As far as SW cooking, Flay is totally from NYC but doesn't wear cowboy hats and crap.
 
Gonna be a good show !!!
