I read in a paper that it has been determined that after the age of 25 your health starts to decline IF you live an unhealthy lifestyle.
That would be smoking, unhealthy eating and no exercise.
If you fit the bill with those 3 mentioned you will lose 1% of your strenght, energy and general health (your body ages beyond your real age) per year.
After the age of 50 it is 2% per year.
That means that when we reach the age of 70 you will most likely have lost 70% of your health.
The good news is that with a healthy lifestyle you can reverse that and potentially only lose 30% all the way up to the age of 85-90 years old.

Damn, my energy has been declining steadily since I was about 25 (going to be 31 this month), but I can't get motivated to workout and eat better (I don't smoke). Vitamins help with energy levels, but I know I gotta hit up the gym.

Same for me, i do not smoke, i eat fairly well i think (to much sweets though) but it is a struggle to workout the 30 minutes per day. I do use my bicycle sometimes.
