I'm very interested. Most or some of us do it a lot, but what's rerally happening to your internal organs?

Let's use a 30 minute medium to high intensity run beginning easy with 2 minutes slow warmup light run until you turn up the speed.

    1) Blood pressure begins to drop. Why?

    continue......

Regular physical activity makes heart stronger. A stronger heart can pump more blood with less effort.  Less force on arteries  lower blood pressure.  During exercise, blood pressure naturally rises and falls as it returns to normal.

Indeed true. How do other internal organs respond to physical exertion?

Sounds wierd but I try to visualize the various responses that are taking place while I'm running my arse off.

The lungs move air with more pressure driving more oxygen into the blood stream and expell more CO2 as this float the heart stays steady at roughly 120 beats a minute. The lymph sestem stimulated to drive plasma to sskin to cool the body it drives out salt and poison as the skin becomes a secondary membrane of kidney function. The eternal digestive tract gets a huge boost as the muscles pushing nutrients along a being pushed along. But the body starts to need salt sugar. Fluids as the research team in Florida noted in development of gator aid. The liver is being flooded with blood is pushing toxins the skin emits and the need to urinate becomes weaker. However. Long distances without added fluid salt and carbohydrates the body begins to break down. It's ability to comprehend pain as the pitituary pushes huge amounts of chemicals to block pain it also pushes delirium effects of both adeniline and morphine like endorphins. With the continued dehydration and lack of salt dysentary will set in then total collapse of the nervous electodiagram hitting the wall. Finally you can actually pass a point to literally run yourself to coma and death. As witnessed in the original marathon.......

    Great answer nature.
I go pretty hard bout 5-6 days a week in swimming, biking, stair climbing, hill running mixture. Need to be more careful as far a salt, sugar and fluid loss. Been to the wall a few times.

I've taken cooling down for 3 minutes a lot more seriously now which I've learned is very important in gradually dialing down the respritory system.

Started to train as well. But for me baby steps. I walk a mile to and from work and quit smoking. Limiting drinking alcohol. Haven't looked at the bike. Take me about a month before I start thinking about riding even ten miles.

But. I am not in any shape after heart surgery last December.   By fall I looking at a five k run.

Energy drinks ripped a plaque build up on my heart the blood pressure caused this problem. My artery was 100% clotted they put in a stint. Then just got through my second stint operation cause another was blocked 80% so I have two now in less than six months. Shouldn't need nitro anymore. Steady supply of plavix metopolol liptor baby aspirin every day now to stop my body from rejecting the stints in my heart but I feel good and walking around to help but I am out of shape and not my usual self in many ways.

Steady supply of plavix metopolol liptor baby aspirin every day now to stop my body from rejecting the stints in my heart but I feel good and walking around to help but I am out of shape and not my usual self in many ways.
