raise this question because within 3 days i have been screwed over three times by chains getting carryouts.
taco bell: these asses never get it right and i dont have the patience to double check my bag with 3 things because i cant see how hard it is to get a simple order correct. 3 chicken tacos, all beef...3 taco supremes, 3 regular soft tacos...big beef burrito supreme meal, chalupa meal...its unreal
krispy kreme: i get donuts maybe once a year, today i went to one and order two vanilla kreme donuts, the guy asked me three times and i said vanilla kreme!! get home to bite into it and its custard, the arch nemesis of the vanilla kreme. i threw the donuts out. not to mention the lady at the drive thru register hands me my money on top of my box as the change blows in the wind outside...pure stupidity
outback steakhouse: run over to their curbside to get a couple steaks for me and the wife before i watch games. first the waitress tries ripping me off of $20 worth of change and runs away. then she tells me i could have just put the $ in my pocket? i said get a manager, you're not scamming me. i see her through the window checking my bag 3 times to go over my food and i say that is fine, just get the order right and my $ back. get home, no mashed potatoes with my steak and no loaf of bread. Is it that f'n hard?
terrible diet i know, taking my 2 week break from working out and eating like a health nut so i dont burn out. at least i threw out the donuts.
any chains out there that just piss you off and dont get the order right almost every time?

But I think at Mexican lunch wagon type places something things get lost in translation so I can accept it if it comes out wrong...
But at a Taco Hell, taco slime (tlime) or any other franchise with a computer system, I expect to get my order right...
There is this one popular take out mexican food truck place that is basically a trailor with a wooden deck and roof to give it 2 tables,a few seats and covered area to order and wait... But what they do is have some to have a young and attractive girl working in the front taking orders who is a "gringo" but bi-lingual... So you can have a perfectly normal conversation to her in english and she can turn around and in spanish tell the cooks exactly how you want your food... The attractive white girl in the front has changed over time, but the formula has stayed the same and it works
Order comes as I ask for it, authentic kick ass food, eye candy... all for about 5 dollars...

I don't know why you expect them to get your order right. It's a bunch of high school dropouts working for minimum wage. I'm pretty sure their high the entire shift. If anything... i'm surprised if they get it right.

in management for a fast food chain and you would be amazed at how hard it is for some of the "high school dropouts" to place the order they want--it works both ways pards
