Betting With A Stranger At The Airport

Hey Boys,

I have a funny one for you. I was just picking a friend up at the Airport and I had my Bruins jersey on. A little Habs fan comes running over and says there not going to win there not going to win. I say do you want to bet , how much? I say $100 and he looks confused and says yes. I have his business card and he has my cell number. I dont know if he will answer my call my once we crush the Habs tonight. I will keep you posted.

Definitely looking forward to the follow up to this..hopefully this guy has some Marty Turco in him and will pay up when the B's win tonight.

It's only $100..i think it's worth it just for the sake of a good story..kind of interesting to see if the guy will pay.

Boys I just called this guy and he says he is in a meeting right now and he will call me when he is free and we can meet up. I will keep you posted .

It is tough enough getting paid from a friend or acquaintance after you win a bet.  On the other hand, a stranger is a whole lot tougher and less likely.  If you do win your bet, get used to his secretary or him constantly reminding you that he is busy or in a meeting, regardless of when you try to get a hold of him.  And that is even if he answers your calls in the first place.

I went and collected a $100 bucks from this Habs fan yesterday at Tim Hortons. I have a picture I am going to post as soon as I get the picture off of my phone.
