Like many, I do not have big TV sports packages at home. I have zero way of getting an out of market game that is not nationally televised. I am not saying that this makes it their obligation to give me the score.
However, they are intentionally giving out misinformation in order to cause losing bets. No different than picking up your phone to call your bookie for a Cavs game, and he tells you "Hey, LeBron James is out"… when he is in fact perfectly healthy. Of course, you should do your own research and in the end are responsible. However, that does not change the fact that what your bookie just did was shady.
If you don't think that is shady… than you are either a sucker… or you are in fact, extremely shady.

Let me make this perfectly clear to you...
You talking to me about ingame betting is like a homeless man talking down to the president.
There are some sites that offer live odds that don't show a score AT ALL. Their main job is to deal the odds. I don't play with bovada anymore, but they used to have a disclaimer at the bottom of live betting that specifically addressed the issue of the scores potentially being delayed.
And for the record, bovada lowered my live limits to $1 across the board because I won too much off them, so not only do I have no reason to defend them, it would be justified if I went out of my way to attack them.
I'm trying to explain how the live betting industry works. Is it the way I would do it if I personally offered live betting? No, but you are wasting your breath by complaining about it.
Either find a site that offers real time odds (there are tons of them out there) or don't bet live if you can't afford the out of market packages, plain and simple.
