This is a bit long, but I am furious with BetOnline and I feel the need to warn anyone who might get scammed by them.
A few weeks ago I deposited $300 to BetOnline. After a few losing days, my balance was just below $200. That's when I noticed my card had been overcharged. The fee on the $300 deposit was $19.50, so my account was properly credited $280.50, but my card had been charged $319.64. I asked them to fix this, and they said they would refund the $19.64. I thought they meant to my card, but it turns out they credited it to my account. Not what I wanted, as this is just their way of ensuring that if I lose all my funds they still get that extra $19.64. I told them this was unacceptable, and they told me they were unable to issue a partial refund to my card. I asked them to issue it to me as a payment, which they said was impossible because the minimum payment size is $50. I said I would have to dispute the charge with my bank, at which point they offered me a full refund. I confirmed that even with my balance at ~$200, I would get the full $319.64 refunded.
This all happened over two weeks ago. I was told the refund would take 24 hours. After nearly two weeks, I contacted customer support again because my balance had not changed and I had not received a refund. This time I was told no refund would be possible! I insisted that I had already been told I would get one and asked to speak to someone higher up, but they refused. I again said I would have to contact my bank. That was the end of the discussion.
Since I decided I wasn't going to get anywhere, I decided to just start betting again like normal. After betting on basketball the last two days, I woke up today and attempted to login to my account. My password no longer worked. I reset my password, and upon logging in I saw only a blank screen, no matter which page I attempted to view. I called BetOnline, and they say my account is under review by their security team, or some line like that. They now tell me the refund has gone through, but it will take 15 to 30 days to show up in my account.
I called my bank, and they have no indication that a refund is being processed. I am fairly certain at this point, having found similar stories on the internet, that BetOnline is simply stealing my money. I have disputed the transaction with my bank, so hopefully that turns out for the best. I am just shocked that a book with good reviews could turn out to be so shady. Is there any online book you can truly trust?

Well I would not say that you were scammed. The bank might charge you for the transaction you made or the betonline. I always take in mind that on top of my deposited amount their will be a fee's need to be paid in either bank or casino.
