Do you think there are any chances US players will ever get another betting exchange?? I'm pretty hopeful. I don't get how betting exchanges cannot be used though.
I guess i'm probably not that familiar with the law but i figured a betting exchange could work into some sort of loophole as technically they are not taking the action they are just connecting two people who have opposite views on a game. There is no crime in talking with a co-worker about sports and when you differ opinions telling them to throw some money down if they're so confident, large amounts of money are thrown around like this all the time. There is no government agency shaking down people on a golf course for betting each hole, or rolling into your work place cause you and jon bet each other 500 on sundays football game.
IDK just seems kind of stupid to me that there hasn't been a solid loophole exploited yet to capitalize on the huge market , maybe a non commission based system and more of a monthly service. I don't know if you could be charged for running an illegal gambling operation if you are simply just charging a monthly fee to connect people together. The other caveat is distribution of funds i'm sure there is something that could be setup to deal with this pretty easy, there are many escrow services that already do this sort of thing for people on e-bay etc.
Hmmmm ohh well one can dream, would love another betting exchange as I feel that is one of the best systems for sports betting as your funds are being distributed against people with the same hobby as yourself instead of a company or a group of companies.
