At 10:53 pm EST on Sept 8th I placed a live wager on LA Dodgers at +357. Immediately after placing my wager, Corey Seager flied out to center for LA's first out (Top of 4th inning). My wager was already accepted, but I seen the new in-play line move to +420 or something. The next play was a fly out, then a walk and strike out - ending the 4th inning. No runs scored - and the in-play line at this point was even higher.
My wager remained Pending the whole game, as I watched the Dodgers make a 4 run comeback and win in overtime. Obviously, I was really excited because I just got really lucky. I wake up in the morning to check my wager and they have it settled as DECLINED lol.
I ask what's going on in chat and the Mod (Takami) tells me to submit a ticket - which I have done. I ask the chat if anybody else has experienced there seem to be a few people with the same issue. I also mentioned that I'd go to the forums if my wager isn't credited which led to me being banned for 60 mins - ok.
My problem here is that my wager was placed fairly, with no ill intent, and no past-post wager. In fact, if I were to wait I would've just gotten an even better line. And, if Nitrogen would've canceled it earlier, or declined it, I would've just taken advantage of the newer, better line. And of course, it's fair to assume that if my wager would have lost, I wouldn't have been reimbursed. They're completely in the wrong here.
Nitrogen's response:
We apologize for the inconvenience this might have caused you. Please keep in mind the wagers that are declined is due to the odds changing constantly.
Take into count that if you bypass a message stating that the wager was not placed (due to the odds changing) and you try again you will be accepting the new odds.
