I need some help on a situation that I think Bovada is screwing me over on. I placed a straight wager on a soccer match 1st half. It won, but Bovada later cancelled it and determined it was a push, thereby taking away my winnings. When asked about why, Bovada’s response was to first send me to the soccer rules (of which I’m well aware already), then when pressed someone finally answered that the name of the league was mislabeled on Bovada. The teams were correctly named and played, but Bovada is stating that they internally mislabeled the league name so the bet is canceled. Nothing in their rules state this, and here is the text of the actual email from Bovada. It is unreal to me. Let me also say this, I’ve been with bovada a long time and they have always been fair, but this seems patently unacceptable. I want some thoughts or help. Thanks. Here is the email text:
“The line was registered incorrectly, the league in which the line was registered was incorrect and due to this error all wagers had to be returned. The correct league would have been Australia New South Wales League 1 as opposed to what was registered Australia New South Wales League 3.”
