get to vegas (always a good thing) and talk up the peeps in the books, needless to say it would be a risk sending the cash and hoping the contact would make the play - trust factor would have to be high, one of the ticket writers over at the plaza had mentioned to me once he "made plays" for some guy on the east coast and someone like that maybe be a good source

Most of these guys want a percentage of each wager. If your betting real money, this can eat into your profit in a big way.

I only go to Vegas a couple times each season. Mainly because I hate flying. So I pay for the flight, and my friend goes for me. It works out good for both of us. He gets a free ride to Vegas 6-8 times per year. I get the comfort of knowing very well who is doing my bidding out there.
