Circle closed my account after only 3 deposits to my Nitrogen sports wallet. I didn't use a middle man account, I only deposited about $600 to my Nitrogensports wallet account over the course of a month. I got this e-mail in the past few days, I won't say specifically as I don't want them to be able to confirm my account was involved in gambling because they have my information. Needless to say I am absolutely stunned that they were able to come to this conclusion with only 3 deposits to one wallet totalling only $600. I also never made any withdrawals from Circle and my account was fully verified.
As a techie who has been using bitcoins for years I am absolutely stunned that they could come to this conclusion with so little account activity. I'm definitely not a conspiracy theorist but I like to think of all possibilities, and my head certainly is scrambled right now.
Link is a screenshot of the e-mail they sent me.

As a "techie" you understand that bitcoin transactions are traceable to a degree? Addresses they are transferred to and from are registered on the block chain. They saw all your funds were heading to the address of the Nitrogen wallet and shut you down. Im sure Nitrogen is a known site since it's the biggest bitcoin gambling site and t's on there radar to blacklist US members for "illegal" transfers.
Just use an intermediate wallet next time that doesn't concern themselves with that bs

bitcoins are only traceable to a specific person and/or entity through poor security. Clearly Circle is using statistical analysis of the blockchain and has found a common demoninator that link's certain wallets to Nitrogen sports. This is a problem with Nitrogen sports as their security clearly sucks. They allow you to receive bitcoins into the same wallet address every deposit which should not happen, it should be a new wallet every time that's first off. Secondly they clearly aren't mixing their wallets very well. But hats off to Circle as they are clearly using a good third party that performs automated statistical analysis of the blockchain, possibly the US Govt themselves that's analyzing the blockchains as they are regulated by the Govt. Who knows who is running the statistical analysis on the blockchain to determine where your coins are going too (what specific entity), but its not nearly as easy as you may think it is.

By the way....people have had their accounts closed by circle and coinbase even when using intermediate wallets. As you know yourself ALL bitcoins transactions are registered on the blockchain so it does not matter if you are using just one intermediary as the statistical analysis will still end up with that intermediary sending the coins to the final destination (Nitrogen). You are going to start having to use mixing services if you are going to want to be completely safe with using coinbase/circle otherwise it's just a matter of time. One intermediary wallet will do nothing against the sophisticated statistical analysis that Circle and Coinbase are doing via some third party.
