Dec 1 Deadline???

Anyone have further info on the possibilty of not being able to withdraw funds from online books after Dec 1?

I don't know all the details of this law, but have heard some talk around the forums. Info is appreciated.

I heard of this, they are trying to penalize banks if they accept payments, or cash checks from online gaming.. You will have a harder time trying to get paid, and to send money to the gaming sites.. I guess sooner or later they will shut down online sports gambling, i here matchbook is having problems now.. hopefully they leave poker alone, you can keep up to date on everything from (osga.com) screw the goverment...................

Second, thx for the info. Sounds like there's some uncertainty, but the problem would likely lie with cashing checks.

I dont think I'd do the pawnshop thing to cash my checks. Online gambling is already sketchy, but that makes it even more so. If the banks wont fund my checks, I'll stop gambling online and just wait for Vegas trips to go big!

this was on my banks website and tried to get a check cashed and a hold was put on the check even though i had funds in my bank account to cover the check
