getting questioned doing a wu

i do money transfers almost exclusively and i was getting a withdraw and lady was asking me how do i know somebody in the philippines i just kind of brush it off and say some bullshit answer but this has happend the last two times..just do your job and stop asking questions..anyone else go through this type of hassle and if so what has been said.. is this a cause for concern?? Its not a big deal but has bugged me the last couple transactions fuckin annoying

Use different places to send and receive your money. Of course if you live in a rural area it's not always possible. Another thing you might try is to use different forms of you name as an example if your name is Joseph Jones use Joe Jones, Josef Jones, Joseph Jones 2nd and so on. It works for me because I have never been questioned about any money transfer to and from my online books. Also, try to use mom and pop stores to make the transfers because they will never ask you about anything. I try to stay away from check cashing places also. Good Luck!

Yes. Tell them to shut the fvck up. Ask them why in hell you should be discussing personal info with them. "help me send money" or ask to talk to the supervisor.

+1 on the "rent" answer. If you look too young to own a building, you could always say you work for the manager or are the manager.

That being said, you should also go to places in the hood during daylight hours. Neighborhoods with undocumented immigrants are used to international money transfers, happen thousands of times a day (although usually from US ==> other countries). The more immigrants in the neighborhood, the less questions to answer.
