First of all, i get a really bad feeling about their customer service. In my opinion i believe they deal with a lot of unruly customers who talk faster than they can think, nevertheless it is never an excuse for customers to feel that they are being rushed. My answer to the ones who are assholes over the phone or are looking to turn on that "asshole speaking" switch is to slow my speech and think faster. You ever hear of the term think fast and talk slow? Well it works the majority of the time when you are either getting bad customer service or about to. Below is what i feel is worthwhile to share.
yes you can request a western union or moneygram withdrawal everyday, even on saturday and sundays. The earliest that you can make a withdrawal on any day is 9am eastern time. And from the time that you make that withdrawal request, you will be able to get the control number 24 hours from that time. I've tried to cheat a beat to try and test the system, but it seems as though 24 hours is firm.
On any given day that you feel the need for requesting your money for whatever reason, maybe you won on a nice parlay or something, assuming that it is after 1pm eastern that it got graded, you will have to wait till the next day at 9am eastern in the morning at the earliest before you can even request a withdrawal, and then 24 hours later, that's when you get a control number. What does this basically mean? Well it means that the longest you can expect to wait the minute you decide to withdraw is 43 hours and 59 minutes.
Now, it could be possible that a game played outside of north america that you bet on gets graded sometime between the 9am eastern - 1pm eastern timeframe, and then it would be 24 hours from that time, but there aren't as many people betting on the australian open, french open, or wimbledon. The same goes for betting on soccer matches in europe or what have you. Don't you hate it when you are told 24 hours or whatever, but then you find that it's actually just 24 hours from the time that you can request the withdrawals? Too bad we can't just get our money when we want it because that can only occur if you can bet in las vegas, nevada right? So for me it's best to know the worst case scenario because then if it goes over, you have reason to file a complaint and fill out a form at sportsbookreview.com
Man is it a hassle to deposit with 5dimes at times, and let me explain why, first i want to explore funding through western union. There is a feature online at 5dimes.com which allows you to request a name to send your western union funds to as well as the country. Well sometimes this feature is down so that sucks, and then you basically have to call in to get the info. And you know calling in to get the info can sometimes suck because you risk the chance of getting the incorrect spelling of the name. This can happen rather easy at times because the people that work over the phone have accents and it's easy to get mixed up. Have you ever had to go back to western union in order to get the name fixed because there was a letter that was off? That really sucks monkey balls. Sometimes the agent at western union will give you a number so that you can call them yourself at home, but don't take that bait. You will be on the phone all night long singing lionel ritchie. On top of that i believe you need to call from the number that you wrote on your western union money transfer form send. so then you gotta go back into the western union location that you used to send the money to and sometimes it takes ages for them to get a hold of someone on the lines even though the dealer is calling, yeah the last time i went, i waited about 30 minutes, and that sucks monkey balls. The other thing that is really fucked up that i can think of is that if philippines as an example is the destinantion country to send the western union, it's gotta be in US DOLLARS. Sometimes the person who served you might be a newbie working at the place, and then they do'nt ask you if you want it on philippine peso or us dollars, it goes through as philippine peso and then you are fucked. You might even forget it yourself to mention US DOLLARS, because it won't allow you to mark anything on the form and so you have to rely on the agent to ask you if you want it in us dollars. Even if before you sign the slip after the transaction, if it says philippine peso, you point that out to the customer service rep at the window BOOM! You risk the chance of sitting your ass at that window off to the fuckin' side of waiting 30 minutes before they are able to get through on the phone and get the western union office to change it to us dollars. You see how fucked up of a hassle it can be to send western union? You won't know how this shit feels until you have experienced it yourself firsthand and i first sent my first western union over 10 years ago and i am surprised i am not banned from western union yet. Of course i can always get another name or whatever, but things can be a major hassle. I know there are many of you who have sent without any problems and all that, but consider yourself lucky!
As far as moneygram goes, i have done moneygram a few times, and it seems as though as little as i have used moneygram to send, i can recall a few times where i was hassled by moneygram. This one time that i can recall is that i had to call moneygram and give more information up because the name that i was sending to apparently was a known drug dealer/terrorist/bad guy i don't know what shit, but i had to call my sportsbook up and get more info to give the moneygram personnel. I called my sportsbook up and they were able to give me the info that moneygram needed and my deposit went through but damn, who the fuck likes being hassled and shit? I just want to do the fuckin' deposit and move on, but i refuse to use moneygram anymore, at least to send.
