This happens in this forum more than others, but it happens everywhere. Most of the time, you just need to look at the first page and you'll see at least two threads titled, "Best sportsbook to deposit for US customers."
Over in the NFL and CFB forums right now, I'll bet on the first two pages of each forum, you'll see three threads wanting to know, "Who are the best handicappers for me to follow."

yes, there is the everyday sportsbook question as well as the "looking for a local" question. This one is usually followed by a post 2 weeks later about them getting stiffed by.....
