Anyone tried this, using a fake or friend's address from New Jersey

If you try to bet online they can tell were you are betting from.

Yes, I suppose, they use geolocation and VPN as well

Apparently you can live in another state and play in the NJ casino's/sportsbook, you just have to be physically IN NEW Jersey when you place your bets.  People drive over from Philly and NYC to do it (from what I hear---I'm in NJ so I haven't had to do it).
