placing a bet is cool.....taking a bet is illegal. ummmmm, have guys busted anybody yet?

Are you in University? If so just ask around, I know when I was in school there were tons of who took action.

But as a Canadian, why not just bet online?  It's easy for Canadians with more options

because you never know if the will pay you or give you some stories. and if you are a small better like me in what amount are you going to withdraw so it will be worth it with all the fees?

so you always play win or lose (at the end you lose) and you never see any money.

there has to be a ton of bookies in toronto but i cant help you out, you'll surely find one though. a couple of bookies got busted in windsor over the summer so theres negatives to both. but if you use pinnaclesports or matchbook you'll have no problems with paying fees and deposits etc. id recommend opening up a instadebit account and deposit/withdraw through there.. ive never had an issue and withdrawls are in my bank account in 3 days without any fees. im a small bettor as well.

When I lived in T.O., I used a couple of the british sites - they accepted my Royal Visa card and Canadian address and allowed me to bet in C$.  William Hill was one, can't remember the other.  They allowed small wagers and I got paid back via credit to my credit card from William Hill. 

Using a local exposes you to needless risk and inconvenience.
