Looking for an Expanation - International Purchases

Question

Tried 6 times over 2 days to make a Deposit with Bookmaker. Had 4 separate conversations with the Credit Card Company to ensure any International Blocks were removed. They confirmed with me during each of the 4 conversations the Block had been removed.

All 6 attempts were "declined". The credit card company had specific notes attached to my account as to which country the charge would be coming from, but the Deposit was still declined.

Went back to my Bovada account and the Deposit was accepted on the first attempt, and it was also an international charge.

Can anybody offer an explanation as to why a credit card company would decline one international charge, and accept a different international charge?

Is it based on the country that the charge is coming from?

Credit card companies can block in various ways - specific international regions, all international, specific countries, etc.

Contact your credit card company in this case. The credit card company would see the declined transactions and provide the reason. If they don't see the transactions, then the problem is on merchant initiating the transaction which is the bookmaker, maybe they are doing something wrong.

My guess is the bank has blocked the actual company the book is using to process payments. They may know its for gambling.

banks do whatever they want to do,their can be no explanation as to what happened because of that

Sorry but not correct. The bank will tell you why a declined transaction occurred. If the bank doesn&#x27;t see the transaction attempt then it never successfully reached them.
