need help from heritage

Question

I have never had any issues with them on cash outs ever but I received a check from Canada and have tried to deposit in all my banks and they all say routing number is too long. Any help on who can cash or what to do??

I did have a similar issue with a check from them and what I had to do was deposit it and allow them to put a 30 day hold on the funds. It did clear and the funds were credited and never had that issue again. You can request money orders from them and if you do it wisely you will have no problems.

Also, if your banks just won&#x27;t take it period! Let Heritage know and they will get you out new funds quickly and have a stop payment put on that one.

thanks gopher but problem is I had multiple checks from betjam and never a problem from banks in canada

neither of my banks will take it is the problem but heritage said i have to pay to send check back to them and will get fee back either which is a double whammy

i know the money is good but not sure what to do here is why i am stuck with a dilemma

Try a check cashing place and if they don&#x27;t cash it let Heritage know that nobody can verify funds in the account the check is written and they need to fix ASAP.

I&#x27;m going through a similar issue with my bank.  I am with a small credit union and they just immediately sent it off for collections and said I had to wait until the received the return from the Bank issue in Canada.  The freaking chain of command this has to go thru is ridiculous and I regretfully deposited the thing.  Heritage will not cancel the check while it is in the process of collections and my bank says it is a 6-8 week process I must wait and if they do not hear bank from check issuer bank from Canada they will let me know and I will then have to conatct Heritage and state my case.  A big pain in the behind this has become on a check I deposited January 6th.  Who knows when the funds will finally be credited to my checking account.  Good luck though.

Yes I know what you mean as I was dealing with a credit Union but I opened a account with regions today and have 3 day hold so we shall see and I&#39;ll let you know

I was curious how the check payouts were, I have always used western union.Are all of the checks from Canada? Where are the money orders from?

I have had two checks and both from Canada and the money order was too.  I thought about trying the bank wire next but was unsure.  I was nervous about the check at first, but never had any problems whatsoever cashing the checks.  I have always done western union and moneygram but paid over 400 in fees in jan on cashout so i figured i would try it out and loved it.  heritage is still by far best i have dealt with and getting more and more tennis lines which is awesome for myself

Honestly, it&#x27;s probably just a bank employee that doesn&#x27;t know what to do or is too lazy to ask.  The Canadian routing numbers don&#x27;t fit on the standard US forms most banks use.  But as long as they are written in US dollars for a legitimate financial institution your bank should be able to cash them.I&#x27;ve had tellers and B of A tell me they can&#x27;t do it, and then walked into the same branch and have someone else do it no problem.

considering the max u can get paid wu and mg is 799 and the fees are 70 every pop it adds up when you can quadruple that for a cheaper fee...

and if you read the entire conversation you see it cleared with no problems too so no need to jump in and act like a person

I had this same problem with Heritage checks at Bank of America. Thankfully, they pushed the checks through without any issues. Sometimes you just have to be patient I guess ... or find another bank.
