Seems like the U.S. government is not concerned wasting time and work hours to shut down our favorite websites. Just another way our government wastes our time and money for seemingly no good reason. I am wondering if anyone here is seriously concerned about our future for sports betting. I dont see myself quitting anytime soon especially since i have been winning and making a profit. A few sites have been shut down and seems like each site is changing deposit and withdrawl options every few months. What are some opinions on these ideas?

People will adjust eventually.  But for now it doesn't look good.

I don't know why we have to waste $ on this kind of enforcement.  How does it help anyone?  I thought we were a free country, but the sad fact is it's other countries free to wager online and not us.

WHy not let Vegas go on-line and let the gov get what they want and we get what we want????? I don't get it..

You are being logical but this goverment is not. if everyone on covers would stop buying their state lottery tickets for just one week the states would cry to Obama to give them more money and maybe we might get some kind of sportsbetting using state lotteries. Of course all the idiots that buy the instant games will never stop and the assholes that buy megamillion and powerball will never quit. The lottery is the worst bet in gambling but the Govt. has no problems running them. I have NEVER bought any lottery tickets in my life and NEVER will. Anybody who does is a stone cold idiot.

You guys are off base here.

The elected are getting $1000 handshakes from the bookmakers of their jurisdictions to not only keep the states from opening up local online sports wagering, but to also keep the offshore market out of reach.

Who's interest would this serve?
