Here is my observation... I have used 5dimes for about 10 years. Like most gamblers, they have collected PLENTY of money from me. From time to time I have had an issue with the grading of a wager, or random things. Sometimes the website is not available, but propbet as a backup usually is there. They have always resolved my problems in a professional manner, to my satisfaction.
I had a big run on system wagering of MLB a few years back, and rolled up over $60K in my account. I took a few withdrawals at that time, but I wish I took out more. I also transfered $25K to my bookmaker account. I lost the rest in due time. My limits were never cut, but I do believe that they are cut for accounts that are proven to be professional high rollers. That is not their demographic, and I don't think they go out of their way to make it appear that they cater to high rollers.
I still use 5dimes almost exclusevly. I am very happy after a very long term of use.
I believe that most complaint threads are from dishonest people. Many of them are dishonest in that they profited in some way from a mistake, and they hate that they were cought. Maybe a bad line, or a credit to their account that they want to keep. They tell a story that is very incomplete in details, and clearly lacking the full story.
I also believe that other books would LOVE to have the action that 5dimes receives. So anybody can post on there and create a cloud of confusion to prospective 5dimes users to try to get their action.
Plenty of talk about Tony. I have never talked with the man at all. Many here say he can be a real SOB. I'm willing to bet that if I were in his shoes, having to deal with people trying every way to cheat his business every day, I would be a bit harsh with a person that I realize is trying to cheat me. I have never talked to the man, and have no desire to do so. If you are talking to Tony, your beef has been escalated to defcon 6 status and you are about to get the boot most likely.
I hope this post brings some balance to the discussion here. Yes I am real, and everything I wrote here is my experience.

How are payouts and deposits going for you these days? It's time for me to re-up the bankroll for football but I don't want issues with WU asking me tons of questions and such. Been using them for 5 years, have not been paid out or deposited in about a year and a half.

No book is perfect. 5 dimes has its issues, and I don't think anyone is blowing smoke. I think 5 dimes has gotten so big that they don't value their customers anymore.
You haven't been capped on any waging limits? How much can you bet on a player prop? Just curious.
I also notice that lines change when I go to place my bets. I also get wagers graded incorrectly quite a bit.
They were a great book. But they've bought into so many sites now that they're running the show and they could care less about any dispute you may have.
I'm sure in the grand scheme of things they are still on of the best, but heading in the wrong direction.
