Receiving a Western Union payout

I&#x27;ve received many payouts over the years by Western Union and Money Gram, but I&#x27;m picking up one for a larger amount. I had a question I was looking for feedback on. The receiver name is a very unusual name, and it&#x27;s coming from a Central American country. Do the Western Union agents not care at all about that when you&#x27;re receiving money, or will they ever ask questions? &#xD;&#xA;I only ask because in the past I&#x27;ve occasionally received questioning when sending money by Western Union. I&#x27;ve picked up money before by this method, but was just wondering if anyone had any feedback.&#xD;&#xA;Thanks.

Just be short, polite and firm with them. I know for a fact per their company policies they don&#x27;t/can&#x27;t give a shit about what and where the money situations about. Butttt usually because the workers are nosey when they see larger sums from random places they will ask some random stuff.

you will be fine. the only thing I was ever asked was "do you know this person" and i replied yes and that was that. just go in prepared and you will be fine. if they ask whats it from just say you own a house out there and that person is paying you rent or whatever you want to come up with

also, try and find a bank or walmart to go pick up your money. usually they are crowded and the employees working will just try to do it as quickly as possibly so they aren&#x27;t keeping everyone waiting. has always worked for me

Just make up who it is from. I always go with it&#x27;s from one of my wife&#x27;s family members who lives down in that area.
