So I'm a senior in high school and have been betting sports for about a year an have had quite a few buddies and other people ask me if I would bookie for them because they don't trust online sites. We don't bet huge amounts of money typically between 25-75 dollars per bet and I have a max parlay payout of $150. I have everyone use bovada to check spreads/payouts and they text me their bets and I track everything and will collect at the end of each month.
I am doing really well right now up probably about 1200 on the month so far but my only question, is if I only have 10 people betting with me (some bet quite a bit more on games than others) am I still going to consistently make money or is their still potential to lose quite a bit. Am very new to this so if anyone has any tips for me I would appreciate it. Thanks!

if i want the heat lets say and the bookie knows the heat will def cover.... theyll try to tell you "you cant make a solo bet on the heat" you have to put 1 or 2 more teams on the ticket.... this is the bookie covering his ass knowing i was not going to initially pick other games... most of the time this screws me overrr

Dont listen to royboy either. That will cost u customers.
The only 2 things I would suggest is not using Bovada but a book that is generally a half to a full point heavy on the dog since its almost a guarantee that most of your bets are on faves. Also pick a collection number on all your clients. It is a lot easier to collect 200 than 1500.

I would limit on how much each person can bet per day. Also, to avoid pushes I would make all lines a half a point up or down. As an example if a team is favorite by 3.5 keep that line if the line is 4 then make it 3.5 or 4.5. as you take the action you'll also know if you clients bet Fav's or dogs so you can adjust your lines as needed. The good thing about using half points that if the number falls on 4 the dog bets usually lose if you make the number above the posted number. One bad thing about what your doing is you have a small list of bettors and if they are friends with on another they can compare lines if they bet the same game and get pissed off if you gave one person a game at 3.5 and another at 4.5. But it usually can work out in your favor if the 10 bet alot of games as most people pick about 50% most of the time. Good Luck.

Great advice! Most kids won't care out a half point, most men wont because of it.
