something is going on with a book or moneygram

I am not sure but something fishy is going on either with this certain book or moneygram is conducting something with maybe US Feds.  I sent money to a book and was told it was picked up.  This book sent email stating pick up was unsuccessful.  I am withholding the name of book giving them a chance to figure out what happen.  I tried to cancel transaction but was told by moneygram that I couldn't because it had already been picked up although on my account it says available.  MoneyGram says it takes 24 hours for it to show up and I stated that was the first time I had noticed that because every time I have sent money it says picked up if it is picked up and doesn't take 24 hours to show it.  I then stated I was calling the bank to dispute it and was told by moneygram if I did so they would close my online moneygram account.  So I would not use moneygram right now and if it is the book I will later say which one but I am going to give this book a chance to investigate it.  It's just very bizarre.
