Sportsbook Shut down?

Hello, does anyone have any information on what's going on with Sportsbook.ag?

I made bets earlier today with no problems.

But then about an hour ago I tried to play in a poker tourney and it said I am disabled from playing real money games.

Then about 20 minutes ago I was on the sportsbook page when it all of a sudden went to a page that said my account is disabled.

I am trying to talk to support but there really backed up, so something must be going on.

Any ideas?

I got buddy who lives in vancouver, canada who was in same situation as you and he went on live chat and person in customer service there and the rep there said offer better and faster payment methods plus support in a variety of languages to non US accounts. They also said that all the same betting options, so i think you guys will be ok.

I use sportsbook.com and haven't had any problems with them.  I withdrew $900 a few months ago, it took 5 days.  I've never had the opportunity to try withdrawing more than that from them so I've got no idea if they'd be good or bad. 

I did like their layout though better than pinnacle's which I also used.  However, the layout of the new global.sportsbook.com site sucks in comparison.  Hopefully they're working to get it back to the way it was before, who knows.  One potentially big problem though.  They were running an NFL survivor pool that cost money to enter, well I bought 15 entries for something over $200, I forget exactly how much.  Anyway, I can't find any mention of the NFL survivor pool anywhere on the new site.  I've sent them a couple e-mails to customer support to try to find out what's going on with it.  If I end up getting ripped off over this, i.e. they don't continue the survivor pool and don't refund all entry fees, obviously I'll try taking all my money out and deal with pinnacle only, as well as telling anyone who would listen what crooks they were.  If they handle it fairly though I'll try to let people know about that too.

OK, a followup.  I was getting a sinking feeling about the whole situation with the transfer and not being able to get through on live chat, then reading all the negative stuff on here and elsewhere, well, I was starting to get worried. 

I did a withdrawal with moneybookers.com yesterday and the money was in my moneybookers account this morning.  Then I got a response from my e-mail saying that my survivor pool entry fees would be refunded to my account within 24 hours.  So, I figured it's only fair that I let everyone know that it seems like they did settle things with me fairly.

Told you, they slow pay, but they  always pay..
