If you are in the state of Maryland they are shutting down your account. This is crazy, just got this email from sportsbook.com today.

We are writing to inform you that we plan to cease offering online gaming services to accounts from your area, specifically the state of Maryland.

If you have an account balance you can access your account and wager the balance if you so wish but in order to receive a payout, we ask that you request a withdrawal by Midnight ET August 1st 2011. Any pending wagers will be addressed once they are graded.

As of August 2nd 2011, your account will be inactivated.

We thank you for your business and sincerely hope that at sometime in the future we’ll be able resume offering services for our loyal members in Maryland.

I just had a online chat with sportsbook.ag and they said it this will affect just a customer from Maryland and New York. I asked why and all they would say is those accounts were closed as per Management Decision. So who knows what is going on thanks to our great US govt.
