I am a first time poster, long time follower of covers threads and respect all opinions on this site. I have wagered for approximately 8 years with Sportsinteraction and had the following happen to me last night and looking for opinions.I had a wager of +6 with Memphis last night 2nd half against the Lakers.Memphis lost the second half by +4 so my wager should have been graded as a win.Woke up this morning to find my wager as voided. Called customer service to tell them of the mistake in grading, but was told that my wager was voided because of an incorrect line price. The point spread that I received was correct, however, the-110 line that I received should have been +110 which was why my wager was voided. So when I put it back on the customer service rep that what essentially I was being told was that my bet was being voided because I should have been receiving more money than what was originally wagered at based on the price line.It made no sense to me, and when I pressed the issue was told….Management reserves the right……When I told them that I was going to post on covers about this, the reply I received was, wait, we can offer you $10 in compensation with a 10X rollover attached to it in order for it to be valid action for future payout. At that point, I had to leave for work, but wanted to know if anyone else had encountered anything similar where your wager was voided because you should have received a higher payout than what your original wager was at.I’m o.k. with losing a wager, but this just seems like bad shady business.

No way. They usually void the bet if they realize that either the bet was placed after the game started (i.e. if they left the line open by mistake), or if the line they offered had a big error. In your case, the line was correct but the juice on line was slightly off as per your description. But they should definitely honor the wager with either -110 or +110. Ask for a definitive explanation from them. If they tell you "management reserves the right" again, that is complete bullshit and if this happened to me, I would not play with them again.
But I feel there is more to this story....

Thanks Yuice20 and Sammy_NY. If anything, with the line off in their favor, should have been +110 vs. what I received -110, they should have honored the wager as the actual spread was correct, and I would have been shorted money in the payout. I am going to contact them again. I know there has to have been someone out there who wagered the same thing that I did who had a similar experience. For me, besides the money, it was more the principal of the whole thing.

Just sent SportsInteraction another response back to review what happened to me again, and informing them that their response back to me would be posted in this forum. I will let you know what I receive back. I'm giving them an opportunity to make it right, so let's see what they decide to do about it.

You have got to be kidding me -- I think they would even have no argument if you got +110 instead of -110, but for them to void the wager because you got WORSE odds than it should have been is absolutely inexcusable. I'd post across the street at SBR and they should be able to help you.

Pittsburgh v Washington St Pittsburgh +1.0-110Void
Memphis at LA Lakers (Second Half ) Memphis +6.0+110Win
Update - I sent a very detailed response back to SportsInteraction earlier tonight and asked them to review my wager again keeping in mind that I have been a customer of theirs for approximately 8 years, and that I posted what happened in the covers forum, and was going to post the response back from them here in this forum. I did additionally add in how Kaponofor3 mentioned above how absurd it was to void a bet where I was actually receiving a worse price line than what I was supposed to get. Just went to check if I received any response back yet and while I did not receive a written response back, I did check my account and the wager at +6 was changed from void to a win, and I was given the price of +110 instead of the placed wager at -110. I appreciate all of the advice in this thread to continue to pursue this with them, and thanks for looking out!
