I'm in my sophomore year of sports betting and after much trial and error I've got what appears to be a very lucrative system on my hands. Frankly the only concern I have at this point is this whole thing I keep reading about online books restricting winning players. .. Is this really an issue and at what point do I become liable to get shut down. I'm only up a few thousand at the moment.

To answer your questions, most if not all books will have something like the following their terms and conditions
"Management reserves the right to refuse and/or limit any wager, or lower overall account betting limits at any time as a permanent or provisional measure. "
or
"reserves the right to adjust the limits and/or suspend wagering privileges on any individual account without prior written or verbal notice"

I've been barred from 2 or 3 books. I live in a country where the big name sportsbooks are all pussies with about 10,000 dollar loss limits. I am surmising the issue was first that I won, but also placed wagers of about 1,000....that gets books into defensive mode.
I now use pinnacle and an exchange...exchanges don't have any risk as they are matching one bettor with an opposite side bettor. The juice is small and they don't care if you win millions because it is like parimutuel horse racing...as long as the books get paid, they have no problems.
There is talk that Vegas in the future will have exchanges...the suits would like it because in that realm there's no risk to the sportsbook.
Pinnacle to my knowledge never limits someone....some agents allow you access to pinnacle if you're in the USA.
