Wow I just got bent over by 5Dimes

5dimes showed a cancelled wager at the time I posted it. So I re-did it and they ended up charging me twice. So be careful is you use 5dimes and this error pops up. Make sure they don't post your bet twice.

That happened to me when i took okla in the 2H,and after i hit the submit button,it popped up in red letters that my bet had been cancelled.I did it again and saw where the line had changed,so i did it again.Luckily,okla covered both bets

Next time, if it says that, hit Print Screen and save it in powerpoint, or a similar program, in case they try to screw you..you have proof..just a thought..

They are nit-picking the shit out of their customers with their "This is our policy" bullshit and their customer service department flat out SUCKS.

I am ready to let 5 Dimes go. BetJamaica doesn't have as many betting options but they are near the top when you have to deal with their customer service people.
They are very helpful and they always treat you with respect.

I had words with some clown from the Greek and his famous response was " That is the policy set up by our management".
Translation ( Just accept whatever we want to push down your throats)  I really wish the US government would take their cut and legalize this cash cow

I have been advocating them to folks but now.....

 

I placed a bet and the line chagned from the time I selected it untill the time I confirmed it. They gave me the new line (in thier favor) with no warning at all. If it had been the other way around. They would have made me stick with the original bet which would have bene in thier favor.

this is poor customer service. The bad part is, I simply asked to be refunded my bets where the games have not started yet and they refused to even do that. I will be withdrawing my money.

That happened to me this week also.  It said error and I went to teh main screen and it showed my balance the same so I made the wager again and of course it showed 2 wagers on the game and of course I lost

Beted is good as long as you don't have a streak of good luck and win.  Then they change bets on you and reduce your limits to $25

This is 100% correct.  In the end, a line moves against you a half point.....can be an issue, but a small one in the end for what value you're getting.  The double bet is a problem, and now you know to look for it.  At least you know with those 2 books, if you ever get on a roll, they are not going to limit your play, or kick you out.  You know your money is safe, and your action is welcome.  That cannot be said with the vast majority of books out there.

Try going on a 5k or larger run on beted in a weekend.  I'll bet you have a little trouble.  I can say from experience, you're never hear from either of these books in that event.

Can you imagine the sheer volume of bets thegreek or 5dimes gets on an average day? Not only that, they take all comers.  You've got guys doing $10 and pros dropping 10k a line.  Chances are once in a while you're going to have an issue.  Crap happens.   If you suspect something is f-ed up, do as above.  Print screen, and email cust-service.....immediately.

thegreek and 5dimes are great, great books.  I've been with both for a long time with little to no issues.  Yes, we all miss pinny, but until those days come back (god willing)  these are the next best I think.

just to add to my thoughts on this.  I think 5dimes has overtaken pinny as the pricing leader other than the exchanges.  I bet a lot of soccer, and in the past pinny has been the clear leader.  Not any longer.  5dimes is blowing them away on most handicaps, and definitely leads all books on moneylines.
