What a disgrace...

This is why the rents around NYC are astronomically high.

I know this is a free market, but it's getting to the point where there should be a law in this city enforcing a floor for charging per square foot.

You don't like that? Too bad.

This drives up rents for every other person when the next renter says, "Well this guy paid..."...

This not only spreads throughout the city but leaks into the 5 boroughs as well...

That would be a ceiling (psf) not a floor. ??
And it feels like you're trying way too hard.

Young man will be just fine in this life .

My sister lived in Brooklyn someones basement for 2000 mo.

She works in theatre as stage manger..Been on tour last 3 years with Wicked show.

She is banking some cash ..Gets free hotel room + food per diem. Been all over the country .

And please, trying for what? To gain attention? Like I need attention from anonymous men online.

Articles like this, especially when they hit the main stream have real consequences for the people who live in those areas.

Tip of the cap to that guy for doing whatever is necessary to achieve his dream.

I thought it was illegal to have a living space without a window. Some fire code issue I believe.

Same thing in the suburbs really.

You have 25 Asians living in the same four-bedroom home.

Sleeping in the same beds and even wearing the same clothes.

Got ten cars in the driveway they all share too.

Brutal.

Rent in NYC is ridiculous. That place will rent for $1250 next time it's available cause it's famous. Could you imagine taking a girl back there? I bet the look on her face would be priceless.

I state my views and post my picks (with ample research). It just so happens my social/political views are contrarian to the masses here and I defend my picks with solid argumentation. This leads to obvious CONFLICT which you interpret as "attention seeking". Simple as that.
