2 years since my last job (Need a little resume advice)

Question

I had a contract job that ended two years ago. After that job ended I have just been playing poker to support myself. I'm tired of making shit money and having no health insurance and decided to try and enter the work force again.

I'm wondering should I put something on my resume (self employed) about playing poker for the last two years? I just hate to have nothing on there and employers think I having been looking for a job with no luck the last two years when really I haven't been looking at all.

Definitely not. &#xD;&#xA;Use your imagination. What could you have been doing had you not been working for two years.&#xD;&#xA;Stay at home dad.&#xD;&#xA;Taking care of sick mother/father&#xD;&#xA;These are both excellent. Just mention those during an interview.

No time gaps in a resume.......&#xD;&#xA;My best advice is to keep a resume like a woman&#x27;s skirt..&#xD;&#xA;Long enough to cover the subject, but short enough to make it interesting.&#xD;&#xA;GL Kemosabe     PS..Consider starting a business. Something your good at.
