If your population is using the drug your prisons filled to capacity with people who use drugs illegally than legalize it. Stop the endless stupidity the government of the people if the majority of its citizens are using drugs illegally than make them legal and decriminalize them.

The fentanyl all over the streets of Baltimore, Philly, etc. is has nothing to do with the "Pill Machine".  This is being manufactured in Chinese labs and smuggled through Mexico.   Quaalude's are totally different and nobody was manufacturing tons of that sh*t in Chinese labs.  Xanax is the new Quaalude's anyway.  You will never stop people that wanna get high so legalize it and regulate it.  That's the only way you will "stop" the war on drugs, countless deaths, over populated prisons, etc, etc.  Take the money from regulation and use that for more treatment programs for people that want to stop since nobody ever will unless they want to anyway.

WHY are we caring for the patients with a penal system do we send our sick and infirmed to Prison systems.  

Decriminalize  being with a disease.
