Been playing for about 5 years now. I feel like I should bat 1.000 in slowpitch as I should be able to hit it anywhere "they arent".
This year I have been hitting around .700, which I just feel sucks and I am down on myself, not literally though.
What is a reasonable average for beer league old guy softball? Most of the guys on my team are below my average and we lose most weeks (not surprisingly).

Crash... I'm 52! Started playing when I was 19. Always played LF & LC and batted first or 2nd cuz I had "the wheels"! 600 average and taking walks (to set the table) is always a great season! Batting righty, I started out as a pull hitter... then went opposite field the last 15 years! I played in the National Tournament in 2009 down in Florida against talent I never knew existed! 209 teams from the entire USA and we won 1 game in a double elimination tourny! A memory of a lifetime! Keep going brother!
