Amazon gift card

Any suggestion what I should buy with a $150 amazon gift card.  Really nothing at the site that interests me.  I thought they would have better things but not even airline tickets and there gift cards are lousy.  Anyone have suggestions.

Well... they specialize in books (duh), but the site offers other entertainment options.  Seriously, look on the home page and look under the departments.  If none of that interest you, well then I have no idea what you could possibly be looking for with that.  And if that is the case, there is a website that will give you cash for your gift cards that is relatively close to the value on the card depending on the site.

To be honest though, if someone gives you a gift card to a site/store that specializes in books, I think they are trying to send you a message

Re-gift that card to the person that gave it to you in the first place, if nothing on Amazon pleases you.

What is the site that buys gift cards from people.  I would love to sell it to them.

dude... you can buy anything on amazon.  you can buy groceries.  you can buy sports equipment.  you can buy clothes.  you can buy books, music, movies, and games.  you can buy computer equipment.  I literally do 90% of my shopping on amazon.com, because it is a collection area for thousands of stores.  you can buy ANYTHING.  if you can't find something to spend $150 on at amazon.com, you are probably severely retarded. 

you can buy parts for your 1982 chevy impala for christ sakes.  and then you can buy a bag of dog food, a pair of socks, a toy for your kid, a box of organic cereal bars, new bedding, a shovel, and a watch. 

they dont sell airline tickets

you can't get an airline ticket for $150 anyway.  think smaller.

Amazon sells more stuff, and more variety, than any store in the world.  And on many items their price is impossible to beat.  And as customer services goes, they are actually quite reasonable and pleasant.  Reading customer product reviews is also incredibly helpful, and surprisingly reliable.  And then there's the convenience.  Something pops in your head that you need, you hop on Amazon and find a great product/value in 5 minutes, click the mouse and it's at your doorstep in 2 days.  Much easier than having the time to go, picking out the right store, trying to find stuff in the store, then trying to compare products, then standing in line...etc.  Amazon is a huge time saver and you end up with better products, and if you know what you're doing, at lower prices.

Amazon should be paying me for this review.
