The Judge has also "sentenced" me to a 26 week drug interaction / anger control class. Which I must surrender $780 ($30 per week) to complete "My Re-Education".

In fact, Hitler would have had no reason to make such a speech because there was no gun law introduced in 1935 in Germany. There was, however, a strict gun registration requirement that had been instituted under the Weimar Republic, before anyone knew who Adolf Hitler was.
The “gun control” law that Hitler did enact three years after the fictional speech, in 1938 — a law cited by National Rifle Association chief Wayne La Pierre (who is a fin fruit loop) and many others as evidence of the evils of gun control == was in reality anything but “gun control,” at least not for people favored by Adolf Hitler.

That's crazy that they can make you give up a shot gun ( I assume it's a shotgun, even if it's a rifle - wtf - doesn't make sense) and let you keep your pistol?
How did they know what long guns you have in your home?
I had "some trouble" years back (2003? New York State) and was worried about losing my pistol permit. Lawyer said shut up and don't worry about it, quit asking questions, they wont cross reference anything. He was right, local courts never looked at pistol permits or making me surrender anything. I never thought of my long guns to be at risk though.
I assume you can go buy more pistols if you want to?
