Another Woman question?

Who better to ask for women advice then my fellow degenerates at covers?  So I have become partners in an apparel company in Chicago.  We are expanding our sales force and are in the process of hiring two new people.  One person is a good buddy from Chicago and the other is..... Surprise,Surprise an ex girlfriend!
 
We are meeting up (my business partners) and her tommorrow morning to see if she is interested in the job.  Just got back from meeting up with her tonight.  She is super attractive, intelligent, funny... about everything you would want in a gf.
 
My question is... How do I play this?  Do I mix business and pleasure?  Do I keep it strictly proffessional?  Do I see where she leads things?  I know that i am playing with fire.  She would be an outstanding asset to our company so I don't want to mess this up.  I guess the real question is.  What is more important, Financial success or Love? 
 
We dated a long time ago back in highschool.  There are no hard feelings or any thing of that sort.  We met tonight and talked business/personal life.  Both of us are single and headed in the same direction (or atleast I think).

male ,didn't you have a girlfriend in your last avatar? if not i say if she helps the company leave it at that for awhile and see where things go,but don't push it,it will happen eventually if she feels the same way

More risk than reward here.  Any successful business person will tell you to not mix your sex life with your professional life.  Usually leads to problems.  If she comes to work for you....keep it professional.

this is a no brainer.  don't fuck with this.  don't even think about it.
 
women are the worst in the work environment b/c they're petty, tempered, change their mind, petulant, and like children...
 
you've got to understand that 'professional' behavior in the work place is just a cover.
 
women have the craziest and most ridiculous shit floating around in their minds. 
 
and here's RULE NUMBER ONE about the work place... and it is even more important than company ink or eating where you shit..
 
RULE NUMBER ONE!!!   Never trust a fat, ugly woman in the workplace.   These women are miserable to the core... and the only satisfaction they get out of life is making their sucker husbands miserable or trying to pull some trivial power play at work to make up for their ugliness.
 
As a corollary, never trust short, scrawny dudes at work.  They may hide it, but they've got Napoleon and 2-incher complex all the way.
 
PS. ... You and this girl are headed in the same direction?  None of this shit matters or has any bearing on your bottom line.  And not to be rude, but your post shows little knowledge of women.

Leave the personal stuff aside and treat it as business only for the short term.  See how that goes.  If she is absolutely a key person that you think will make your business go....well, it's something you need to find out.  If something is going to develop, it will develop on its own.  I know a few people in small businesses who are married to or doing others in their business.  It can be done under the right circumstances.  But before you explore your personal feelings, I'd let the business side see where it goes first.  It's hard to do both without one interfering with the other.  But if you get established as a business (ie. she proves herself and you are all comfortable with each other from a BUSINESS standpoint), it's often easier to see what might develop personally.  But if you're still trying to evaluate things from a business perspective and you also start dating or sleeping together, it can really cloud decision making.
 
GL male.  Some of the best and worst times for me have been dating gals I've worked with.

male, i agree with the masses here. Id keep out of it. Too much risk here. You never know for the future, but Id say just stick to the business aspect here.

Dude....you will get tired of fuckin her eventually. Period.

When that happens....you will become less tolerable of her bullshit (yes, every woman has it) and then the fighting will start. Downhill from there. Do NOT go there.....just enjoy knowing that you both want to fuck eachother. Then either take home a different broad or jerk off to it. Good luck.

Going through it at this minute, and listen to Nuts4, Chevyguy, Gyno747, ApacheM, NYN928, and Irish08, and Don't Fuckin' Do It!!!!!!!!!!! When it turns to shit, you can't get away from her for at least 8 hours a day, and it's all you think about. PLEASE listen to all of us. GL with your choice.

Not to be a dick, but what makes you think she would want to mix business with pleasure?  And like a previous poster said, what if she becomes interested in somebody else.  You would be OK with that?

Great asset or not, in the long run this would be asking for trouble if you plan on this "company" going anywhere.

I go along with the majority.  Keep it business, especially for a couple of years.  There will always be time for anything else later but experience shows that to mix the two things is not a good decision.
