That&#x27;s Gangstah Goose.  I have a friend that use to have an independent business (about 6 runners in its hay day) that was eventually absorbed by the DeCavalcante&#x27;s when his and his brother&#x27;s book started to get attention.He obviously let them have it without taking a percentage and their bookie days were over.  He and his brother were doing it for a little over 2 years.  They don&#x27;t phuck around over here.  They were willing to let them work for them but were smart enough to not get involved with those guys.  I&#x27;m sure it&#x27;s similar in CT.

Buddy had an account back in the 80&#x27;s..Pay telephones to put in bets..Remember too many salesmen using them also at a local store doing thier business and you needed to get a bet in quick....First name basis with last name initial and balance check..Had a threshold of maybe $500 win or lose you meet up on the GSP (Garden State Parkway) rest area.Forget the guys name but he was huge and Italian..Friendly and we always kept it that way.Good times looking back..remember calling some telephone number for live scores also..

No doubt man..I wonder if the mob has a hand in nixing legal sportsbetting in AC..Can&#x27;t have the customers driving to AC football season or having online accounts with the casino..That could put a serious dent in business.
